Surveillance & Society is free! There are no special requirements for registration or subscription for libraries or individual readers.

So we just encourage research librarians to list this journal among their library's electronic journal holdings either directly or via Scholars Portal. We are also included in a number of databases including Clarivate / Thomson Reuters Emerging Sources, Scopus, Google Scholar, EBCSO SocINDEXâ„¢ (and Academic Searchâ„¢), both CSA Sociological Abstracts and CSA Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, the International Bibliography of Social Sciences (IBSS), and the  Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

Please note that you should never be asked to pay for Surveillance & Society by any such cataloguer or listing service. If you are asked to pay for S&S, please contact us.

As well, it may be worth noting that this journal's open source publishing system is suitable for libraries to host for their faculty members to use with journals they are involved in editing (see Open Journal Systems).
